Holocaust Memorial Day
We were honoured to perform the haunting music of Ilse Weber at the Holocaust memorial event in Islington Assembly Hall with inspiring speakers Jeremy Corbyn, Emily Thornberry and Ernest Simon who survived this tragic period. There was a majority of school children in the audience which made the event even more special and important. Many thanks to the generosity of the musicians of the orchestra as well as Judith Charron, soprano for her wonderful performance! Director Romain Malan also composed and sung a song based on a poem written by a child in Theresienstadt concentration camp.
